It Made Me Smile

Posted on June 11, 2012 by admin

For some reason a number of years back I started following David Airey’s blog Logo Design Love.  I’m not a designer but i”m always fascinated by the creativity that can be expressed within the limited confines of a logo.   David brings to light some of the most interesting Logo projects from around the world.  His post today made me smile not because of a new logo but because of what someone did when they broke the “design standard”.  Twitter launched a new refined bird as seen below.   One of the things you are apparently not supposed to do is turn the bird upside down but that’s exactly what Oliver Twardowski did with amusing results.   (scroll down).

Here is twitter’s new bird:

So what happens when you turn it upside down?

No, it’s not Batman. It’s Sonic the Hedgehog.
